News: Dan Gregory Is Featured Speaker During Las Vegas Design Center ‘First Friday’ Event October 2

(LAS VEGAS) — Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center will welcome Dan Gregory, author of Cliff May and the Modern Ranch House on Friday, October 2, as part of First Friday at Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center Las Vegas.

 

First Friday at Las Vegas Design Center is a unique, not-to-be missed shopping day for local and out-of-market design professionals. The monthly event features educational opportunities, showroom specials, hospitality and other exclusive offerings for the trade.

Gregory will speak from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 2 in the LVDC Seminar Room, C-184 at World Market Center Las Vegas, 495 South Grand Central Parkway. There will be a book signing after the presentation.

 

Daniel Gregory is the former senior home editor of Sunset Magazine and has a Ph.D. in architectural history from UC Berkeley. He is the current editor-in-chief of Houseplans.com, the largest online source of architectural house plans. While at Sunset he directed the American Institute of Architect’s Sunset Western Home Awards Program, helped found Sunset’s Idea House Program and developed the Sunset Breezehouse modern prefab with architect Michelle Kaufmann.  Gregory is the author of numerous books and essays, including The Place Itself: BAR Architects.
