(LAS VEGAS)— First Fridays at Las Vegas Design Center visitors are in for a delight of discovery September 4, when Paige Dixon highlights how floral can influence design.

Dixon is floral design director at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. She oversees the floral atelier, which explores the Wynn and Encore experiences as floral stages. Researching floral trends, Dixon draws on European influences, reminiscent of neo-baroque floral theater, as an integral part of the floral art styling at Wynn and Encore. Originally a native Australian, Dixon pursued a career in fashion before embracing floral design. After moving to Los Angeles, Dixon was inspired by the creative environment to start her own company, sub Rosa, which serviced The Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills

First Friday at Las Vegas Design Center is a unique, not-to-be missed shopping day for local and out-of-market design professionals. The monthly event features educational opportunities, showroom specials, hospitality and other exclusive offerings for the trade.

Dixon's discussion will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 5 in Building C-184 at World Market Center Las Vegas, 495 South Grand Central Parkway.
