LAS VEGAS - The Smith Center for the Performing Arts announced the Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center as its exclusive home and furnishings partner for its 2012-2013 season.

"We are delighted to partner with The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and welcome this cultural icon to our downtown community," said Paul Watson, vice president, Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center. "As the new center of culture for our city, The Smith Center is helping to change the way Southern Nevadans experience both the arts and the downtown area."

Las Vegas Design Center is conveniently located directly across the street from The Smith Center and Symphony Park. It will also provide overflow parking for patrons of The Smith Center on busy performance and event dates. As a partner, Las Vegas Design Center will enjoy a unique platform at The Smith Center which celebrates the marriage of performing and decorative arts. LVDC will also gain access to select Smith Center events for entertaining clients from its global roster of home and furnishings industry executives.
