News: Las Vegas Design Center Welcomes Kalco Lighting

LAS VEGAS — (May 17, 2011) —Kalco Lighting is opening a year-round showroom inside Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas-based designer of high-end hand-made lighting products will claim more than 2,600 square feet of space in showroom A-208 in Las Vegas Design Center’s Building A. Kalco Lighting has previously held exhibitor space in Building C during Las Vegas Market.

From traditional to contemporary and every style in between, Kalco designs hand-forged lighting fixtures that complement any environment.  Its design teams carefully design and craft each product, incorporating rich details and unique materials and accents, including crystal, stone, leather and shell, to create the perfect finishing touch. Each lighting design is completely hand-crafted, making every piece an original work of art.

In addition to the rich, hand-forged designs offered in their catalog, Kalco Lighting is able to create custom works of iron art to order. Accordingly, rather than pre-selecting complementary finishes and shades for fixtures, Kalco provides the opportunity to personally select a finish and shade that will best complement an individual’s decor. This feature, coupled with Kalco’s hand-wrought and hand-painted design, creates a luminescent work of art as individual as nature itself.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Kalco to Las Vegas Design Center,” said Randy Wells, vice president of LVDC. “Lighting plays a critical role in home and hospitality interior design and we are excited this resource will now be open daily to the A&D community and our patrons.  We’re confident this move will bring terrific value to both Kalco and our LVDC clientele. ”
